The purpose of the study is to assess the availability of services for the prevention and treatment of HIV and related diseases in penitentiary institutions in the countries of the EECA region.

The study was conducted in 6 EECA countries (Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Ukraine) as part of the project Sustainability of Services for Key Populations in the EECA Region, implemented by a consortium of organizations from the countries of the EECA region under the leadership of the Alliance for Public Health in a consortium with the 100% Life (All-Ukrainian Network of PLWH), the Central Asian HIV’ Association and the Eurasian Key Populations Health Network with financial support from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
